Multi-phase switchable, with 1x 32A 230v single phase socket, and 1x 16A 400v three phase socket mean this can be used with either phase electric source, and is ideal for use in outdoor buildings such as garages and workshops. With a maximum output of 5.8kW/7.5kVA, this machine runs at 3000rpm and is designed for stand-by use.
Convenient to Use –
Housed in a soundproofed case, the DHY8000SELR-T offers extremely quiet running noise, making it perfect for use in built-up residential areas, at only 70dB @ 7 metres. And being wheel mounted means it’s highly manoeuvrable and portable, so despite weighing a robust 167KG, it can be moved and transported with ease using a built in handle.
Hyundai Quality –
A reliable 4-stroke air cooled Hyundai diesel engine offers the power behind the machine, and can be operated by a simple key start/stop switch located on the side mounted control panel. Also on this panel you can find key information whilst using the generator, such as a digital display showing frequency, voltage and run time. Fitted with a long run 25 litre fuel tank, it has the capacity for a maximum running time of up to 30 hours. And it can also run on either white diesel (which is the standard fuel), or red diesel (only advised to be used in agricultural applications).
Automatic Capabilities –
The Hyundai DHY8000SELR-T can be easily connected to an ATS (Automatic Transfer Switch) system for convenience and ease of use. ATS (SOLD SEPARATELY) systems can automatically detect a loss of power from mains supplies and can instantly power up your generator to take over whenever this occurs. And when mains power is restored the ATS will switch back over again, turning off the generator as it does, and taking all the strain of maintaining a constant power supply off your hands.

The DHY8000SELR-T 5.8kW/7.5kVA Diesel Generator comes complete with a Hyundai 1 year/1000 hour warranty (whichever comes first), as well as full UK parts back-up to support your generator maintenance. Please see the Hyundai website for more warranty details.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a 3000rpm generator, designed specifically for back-up use only. For a generator that is to be run more frequently or continuously for long periods of time, we recommend a 1500rpm generator.
