Target Power Generators was contacted by a renowned rental company in Ghana, JPP Construction & Services Ltd. The owner Joshua reached out to us in need of a 45kva soundproofed generator to add to his rental fleet, saying that he wanted a used generator for export, because that would tie in best with his budget. Samuel, our Ops Director, assisted Joshua in finding the right used diesel generator from our inventory of used generators to fit his budget.

The diesel generator we offered from our inventory of used generators was an FG Wilson P50-3 3 Phase diesel generator. Samuel selected this product because the generator has a Perkins UK engine, which is renowned for its quality and ease of sourcing parts. This FG Wilson diesel generator had previously been used on a UK construction site, so it had proven its robustness prior to coming into our stock.

Upon providing our client with pictures and a video of the used FG Wilson generator they made the bank transfer payment, and we arranged loading and shipping of the generator to Luton, where the generator was being loaded into it’s container, with the destination being Port Tema, Ghana. Target Power also provided them with a list of export documents they might need in order to clear the goods at Port Tema.
